  • Activities:Upon arrival at Lhasa Airport, you’ll be greeted & warmly welcomed by our professional English speaking tour guide. Transfer to the hotel which you booked before.

  • Destinations: Lhasa
  • Activities:Today we explore Lhasa. Your first stop will be The Potala Palace with its 10,000 steps. It is the largest structure in Tibet. Then we visit to the most celebrated temple in Tibet the The Jokhang Temple . The afternoon is a little more relaxed with time to enjoy some leisure time in Barkhor Street to shop and to look at some of the local crafts.

  • Destinations: Lhasa
  • Activities:Today you will go to visit Norbulingka . Norbulingka, which means "Jeweled Garden", was constructed as a summer palace for the Dalai Lama and later served the whole governmental administration. Then we visit Drepung Monastery . Drepung Monastery used to be the living palace of Dalai Lamas before the reconstruction of Potala palace (after the 5th Dalai Lamas was bestowed by Qing emperor Qianlong).


    After lunch you will visit Sera Monastery . It is known as one of the three greatest monasteries of Tibet. As one of the three main monasteries of Lhasa, it is here that the monks "famous daily debates" take place. Then we will go to The Carpet Factory. One of the most famous souvenir in Tibet is carpet. By visiting the Factory you will have a general idea how carpets are produced.

  • Destinations: Lhasa
  • Activities:After breakfast our guide will transfer you to Yambajan and Lake Namtso . Yambajan is famous for its hot spring and is a nice choice for those who want to get a close look at the Tibetan herders (drokpa) and their semi-nomadic lifestyle.

    Lake Namtso is the second largest saltwater lake in China. The lake is extremely beautiful with its azure water and surrounding snow capped peaks.

  • Destinations: Depart from Lhasa
  • Activities:Free in the day until our local guide escorts you to the airport for your onward flight to your next destination.

Cancellation & refund policies for Tour Packages
  • If you want to cancel your booking or part of it, you must advise us in writing to eLongtours@chinatraveldepot.com by e-mail Please Call +86-10-84577827 or 4006-171717 (in Mainland China). The letter must be signed by the lead name on the booking and once we receive it you should expect to receive a cancellation letter within 24 hours. If you do not then please contact us to ensure your letter has been received.
  • To cover the cost of processing your cancellation and to compensate us for the risk that we may not be able to resell your travel arrangements, we make a cancellation charge on the scale shown below. The person who made the booking is responsible for paying this charge. The size of the charge depends on when we receive your cancellation notice or letter or how you would like us to deal with your payment providing that we have received your full payment for the tours.
